Dr. Honaker graduated from the University of Montana, receiving degrees in both Psychology and Human Biology. He then attended the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health in Mesa, AZ. During his time in school, he developed two separate community outreach projects providing free dental care to homeless veterans. He has also spent much time volunteering at Give Kids a Smile Day, Operation Stand Down, Free Family Health and Wellness Day, Arizona Oral Cancer Walk, Sealants for Smiles, and the Day for Special Smiles (providing free dental treatment to children with developmental disabilities).
Passionate about providing care to underserved populations, Dr. Honaker has completed a Certificate in Public Health and attended four clinical externships at various community health centers across the United States.
Dr. Honaker is a member of the American Dental Association, Montana Dental Association and has been part of a local dental study club for many years. He has continued to expand his skills attending continuing education courses in smile design, occlusion, sleep dentistry, implants, endodontics, pediatrics, oral surgery and more. Over his years in practice, Dr. Honaker has developed a particular love for esthetic dental work and the power it has to transform a patient’s smile and their life.
Born and raised in Billings, Dr. Honaker is grateful to return and have the opportunity to work in his community. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, playing the drums with his garage band, cooking, skiing, traveling, and spending time with his beautiful wife Elaine and wonderful son Walker.
